The Old Hamburg Restaurant is situated adjacent to the Viking Hotel in Story City, Iowa. We are open evenings Monday to Saturday from 5.00pm to late. We are closed on Sundays, but are happy to open for your special occasions. You can view our menus under the menu page.

Our meals are freshly cooked and served, so please allow extra time when dining at our restaurant. Our menu offers a choice of mainly typical northern German food, including schnitzels, goulasch, currywurst and sausage plate, although we have now put Sauerbraten on the menu. We also have a selection of steaks and a small vegetarian choice. 

We can cater to larger groups inside or outside of our normal opening hours, but this needs to be arranged beforehand, since a pre selected menu is required.

We are now serving German Draft Beers and Wine.
